Join your CTDA friends for this fantastic Frist Friday event. The CTDA will demonstrate dressage and perform a quadrille on stick horses! We’ll introduce our audience to the movements and beauty of our sport as part of The Frist’s “Across the Pond” exhibition. This is guaranteed to be fun and entertaining for everyone. We are all looking forward to our first CTDA show of the year! Weather is calling for possible storms, and since safety is always our first priority, the Board of Directors will be monitoring the forecast and post any schedule changes as we get closer. We will alert competitors of changes via email. Alerts will also be posted on this website and on our CTDA Facebook page.

Members who go above and beyond
Each year we honor certain members who have gone above and beyond in their participation, volunteerism and promotion of our sport. We all know it takes a lot of dedication to be involved in Dressage, or really any type of equestrian sport. But some members take it to the next level (Dressage pun intended). Here are the people from 2018 who deserve a little extra love:
Volunteer of the Year: Kaye Simmons (pictured with Nan Holland)
Participation Award: Beth Huff (with Nan Holland)
The Dee Minault Award: Jen Thompson (with Nan Holland). The Dee Minault Horsemanship Award recognizing the true spirit of horse(wo)manship. The CTDA Dee Minault Horse(wo)man is someone with a comprehensive tool box for the many aspects of horse riding/care/competing, and who spreads the word and shares their knowledge with others. Nominations for this annual award are taken by the membership and voted on by the CTDA board.
