Sherry Pride leaves a lasting legacy with the Central Tennessee Dressage Association through her extraordinary dedication to volunteerism and her deep love of horses. She was a past President of CTDA and an active member for more than 20 years, committing countless hours to our sport. Many current CTDA members knew Sherry as our kind and knowledgeable Schooling Show Secretary who was always willing to accommodate our riders and horses and she always wanted to encourage more riders to participate in the CTDA Schooling Shows. Thanks to the kind donations of many who want to remember Sherry in this way, CTDA created a $100 Scholarship in her honor. Eligible are CTDA AA/Junior or U13 members who are embarking on their first CTDA Schooling Show season. So far we have had 24 Sherry Pride Scholarship recipients but we are in need of more funds to continue.
